New Setup

This is my first setup using a P.A system to control the output rather than a laptop.Using the P.A allows me to increase the gain and therefore increase the volume. It is also my first test at using the piezos as speakers. The test was a success as you can clearly hear the output sound come through the wine glass when the piezo was placed against the base of the glass.my next steps will be to develop my wall installation design so that the vibrations from the piezo are concentrated on the glass and not the backing board that supports the glasses. Il be looking to achieve this by suspending the glass or damping the vibrations from the glass.

I will be using a similar setup to this at my next assessment. I will be aslo looking at the possibilty of using radio links to link both my pieces as they will be displayed in seperate rooms.
