I have chosen to exhibit my work at the Students Union as it has both the spaces i need for my piece. The bar or cafe area would be ideal to setup my sociable space with students coming in all the time for drinks and food it would be a good place to get people to interact with my work. The upstairs is horrible and uninspiring space that is made up of a few conference rooms and a corridor but once cleared out it will be a good space for my wall piece to be displayed. After looking around the space it i have begun thinking about the technical problems i might face whilst setting up in this space. Such as, how do i link the pieces together?with them being in seperate rooms.wires or wireless to connect the two? Are there enough plug sockets in the rooms i want to setup each piece? Is there any ambient noise my piece will have to contend with? the list goes on, some questions were easy to answer and some i am still looking into.
